A little about our founder:

Last making his mark in San Francisco, Robert Tait has come a long way to spread his love of design and creative concepts to a whole new coastal audience.

Soon after graduating from Northern Illinois University, he quickly picked up a job in 1995 working for the upstart Bond Group with veteran designer Joe Bond. After cutting his teeth with print projects like brochures, annual reports, logo development and corporate identities, he found himself on the ground floor of a new media known as the internet. Before long he was learning code by dissecting other web sites and laying out pages that were cutting edge, even for it's infant state.

As time progressed, Robert craved a little more than Chicago had to offer (a warmer winter) and soon he found himself packing up his car in 1998 and driving out to San Francisco where he landed a job at Birdsall Interactive. There he worked with Maureen Birdsall and started rising through the design ranks while watching the bulk of projects switch from print to interactive media. The next 11+ years were spent crafting his art and cranking out creative and visually stunning websites and design projects for companies as large as Hitachi, Wells Fargo, Palm, San Francisco Giants and Visa (just to name a few). Even though much of Birdsall's workload included Fortune 500's heavy hitters, they always had room for the little projects which allowed for more freedom and design.

There comes a time in everyones career where we realize that there is little more to absorb from your position and it is time to move on to bigger challenges. With that move, Robert has decided to, yet again, pack up his bags to escape the fog and outrageous cost of living to sow seeds in Wilmington, North Carolina the opposite side of the US. Here he plans to bring his unique brand of design and insight to a whole new area that would otherwise never get to experience his unique angle.
